Optical Coatings

Our optical coating division has excellent capability of designing, depositing and characterizing of optical coatings. The coatings cover from UV to infrared, and are inspected with Perkin-Elmer Lambda 900 UV/VIS/NIR Spectrophotometer. We can provide:

Polarization Beamsplitter
Anti-Reflection (AR) Coatings:
  • single wavelength AR used to provide lowest reflection with narrow band for most laser application, any wavelength from UV 200nm to NIR 1700nm. Minimum reflection is less than 0.1%.
  • broadband AR have excellent performance in wider range. 250~400nm, 320-820nm, 400~700nm, 400~950nm, 700~1700nm, 300~1700nm and more.
  • We can offer different spectrum coating types and wide range of wavelength to meet your needs
High Reflective Coatings:
  • Dielectric coating provides high reflection over a broad bandwidth. It is ideal for tunable laser and white light applications. R average > 99.7% with bandwidth of 120nm.
  • Metalic coatings Aluminum, Silver, Gold, Chromium and etc. have extremely broadband and insensitivity to angle of incidence and polarization, and relative low peak reflection, mechanical durability and damage threshold. Aluminum: R>85% 200-400nm, Silver: R>95% 450nm-12µm, Gold: R>95% 2µm-12µm
Partial Reflective Coatings:
  • Partial Reflection coatings are widely used for beamsplitting, beam sampling and laser output coupling. They divide an incident monochromatic beam into reflected and transmitted components with the specified intensity ratio. Coatings for high power wavelengths use special materials that are able to withstand higher power than standard partial reflection coatings. These all dielectric coatings are sensitive to polarization, wavelength and angle of incidence.
  • Single wavelength Transmission/Reflection (T/R) ratio of 20/80, 50/50 or others for Beamsplitter is available upon request.
  • Broadband in wide bandwidth provide 20/80, 50/50 reflection and transmission ratio, bandwidth of 300nm partial coating with different R/T ratios at any angle of incident is available upon request.
Bandpass Filter:
  • CWL Tolerance: ±2nm
  • FWHM: 10±2nm
  • T peak > 80% at different wavelength, blocking as deep as OD4. The standard wavelength includes 488, 532, 633, 808, 980 and 1064nm
